Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 12 years of experience in business development, enterprise sales, or partnership development.
Preferred qualifications:
- 15 years of experience in the payments or banking industry.
- Experience with producing results and influencing without authority.
- Knowledge on the workings of digital payments.
- Understanding of Indian financial service industry and regulatory environment, with relationship building skills with C-level executives across banks/regulators.
- Ability to pick up technology constructs to help drive efficient architectural choices across the financial services ecosystem with excellent technical acumen.
- Ability to accomplish goals across both technical and business domains with excellent partnership and communication skills

As a Strategic Partner Manager, you will be responsible for engaging with internal and external cross-functional teams to advance business initiatives with Google's banking partners. You will interact with our partners and engage with them on a day-to-day basis for accomplishing Google objectives of creating a robust payment infrastructure.
- Build relationships with potential partners, agency ecosystem, and other channel partners. Manage partnerships to achieve business goals.
- Identify opportunities to shape the future of Google Pay and the payments ecosystem to build resilient, scalable, and agile platforms in close partnership with the financial services ecosystem and service providers.
- Understand partner business objectives and work with cross-functional teams to deliver maximum impact for the partner and Google Pay. Work closely with cross functional teams across Marketing, Finance, and Legal teams on new feature launches, strategic initiatives, and other operational areas to help grow Google Pay adoption.
- Design robust processes with proactive monitoring and engagement along with Product, Partner Operations, Compliance, Policy, and Engineering teams as well as our bank and network partners to create an excellent experience for our customer and merchant partners.
