The role is responsible for supporting and maintaining critical applications and related data processing platforms and services. The individual owns and is accountable for application and platform SLA's against operational commitments. Envision yourself managing application security & compliance ensuring application & data integrity.
The ERP Fusion Cloud - technical Expert will manage all CEMLI components of major rollouts, enhancements, projects in Oracle Cloud ERP. This role will report to ERP Fusion Cloud -Technical Implementation Lead of Cloud ERP. This role will partner with the business teams, IT Leads and our vendors to plan, design, execute, test, document and support on all CEMLI items offered as part of the ERP SaaS offering. This individual will apply proven communication and problem-solving skills to solve issues related to the deployment of the Oracle ERP.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Expertise in CEMLI technical development of projects / programs in Financial and Suppy Chain workstream across (GL/AR/AP/Tax/CM/FA, PO/OM/INV/CST/RMCS)
- Ability to develop quality documentation that clearly articulates solutions and the ability to perform demonstrations
- Be a contributing team member of the larger cross functional team and assume accountability and responsibility for managing Wing-to-Wing projects in Fusion for all technical deliverables across all modules
- Build requirement documents, create and maintain technical design and other required documents per the Standards and Processes
- Adhere to documentation and coding standards for all technical components
- Solid understanding of Oracle project methodology (OUM) and testing strategies such as Conference Room Pilots (CRP) and Process Playbacks (SIT and UAT etc.) following SLDC methodology
- Collect requirement from business users for new entity rollout, perform FIT/GAP analysis, provide possible solutions for identified GAP. Manage requirement traceability matrix throughout the implementation project
- Prepare AS-IS and TO-BE process maps in the above-mentioned modules
- Participate in architecture review board for technical review components
- Ensures implementation solutions support architecture objectives (availability, scalability, performance, security, etc.), as appropriate
- Handle escalations during close cycle while prioritizing defects during non-close cycle
- Write ad-hoc SQL queries to troubleshoot issues and develop OTBI reports for analysis
- Support wing-to-wing data migration process including extract, transform and load (ETL)
- Extract data from Cloud ERP and map to other source systems, destination systems and transformation processes for all data conversion / migration projects
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical designs and requirements
- The ability to communicate complicated technical concepts effectively to a broad group of stakeholders
- Continuously pursues advanced level technical acumen and certifications
- Develops proof-of-concept prototypes and initial implementation models
- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors or Master's Degree in computer science, information systems
- Total of 8+ year's work experience with focus in Oracle On-Prem ERP's and/or Fusion Cloud ERP
- 4 years of experience as Technical Expert across Financial and SCM modules
- A solid understanding of Oracle SaaS offering in all Technical, Database and Middleware
- Strong understanding of functional and technical requirements of all the CEMLI items
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate in both English and Spanish
DESIRED CHARECTERISTICS:
- Oracle Cloud Software as a Service (SaaS) Technical Development
- Experience with Oracle Cloud Data Conversion
- Experience with Oracle Cloud Report Writing/Data Extracts/BIP Reports
- Expertise with Web Services and the use of Oracle Cloud delivered Web Services (SOAP & REST)
- Experience Integrating Oracle SaaS using PaaS
- Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Oracle integration Cloud (OIC)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills within a business and/or technical context, particularly with translating customer requirements into technical solutions
- Customer-focused with a high level of customer service, interaction skills
- Strong team-oriented interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and execute with strong problem-solving skills
- Experience with Fusion Upgrades and preparing for each successful upgrade
