Apply for this jobThe Applications Development Manager is an intermediate management level position responsible for driving technical solution with various stakeholders, should have strong knowledge of Enterprise J2EE system. The overall objective of this role is to analyze technical requirements, provide technical solutions, co-ordinate with various teams, interaction with stakeholders and ensure closure of those technical requirements. Technical Skills: Strong Java , J2EE , Spring , Spring Boot, Maven, Unix Microservices principals, Rest API Knowledge of Messaging and caching technologies Database Programming (Oracle, DB2) Responsibilities: - 8-10 years of total experience out of which 2-3 years hands-on experience in overall career in Java/J2EE technologies - Good understanding and knowledge of Spring and Maven framework - Familiar with enterprise Java/J2EE project architecture - Good understanding of technical issues /requirement - Able to understand different vulnerabilities according to Citi system and able to co-ordinate with various teams and stakeholders - Ability to work/ follow-up with multiple teams and stakeholders on technical requirement - Good communication skills - Able to create power points technical presentation according to requirement. - Nice to have knowledge of tool like Visio, Draw.io etc. - Leverage skills across Applications Development area to provide technical oversight across systems and applications - Communicate internal and external departmental interdependence as well as cross product and cross project - Resolve issues using in-depth knowledge of concepts and procedures within applications development - Utilize in-depth specialty knowledge of applications development to analyze complex problems/issues, provide evaluation of business processes, system processes, and industry standards, and make evaluative judgement - Contribute to planning, budget management, formulation of procedures, and resource planning negotiating with external parties when necessary - Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards. Qualifications: - 8-12 years of relevant experience - Experience in managing and implementing successful projects - Ability to take ownership and make technical decisions on software development projects - Experience with dependency management, change management, continuous integration testing tools, and audit/compliance requirements - Extensive knowledge of software engineering and object-oriented design - Demonstrated leadership and management skills - Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication Education: - Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
