Payment CBS will strive to simplify through standardization (across external and internal clients) of interfaces, reporting, analytics/advisory while maintaining required level of flexibility to deliver enhance level of client experience and retaining focus on robust control environment and resilience.
Critical Business Services Simplification Analysts will work with global stakeholders to identify, analyze and remediate pain points in Citi's operational processes related to payment processing.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Develop a strong understanding of payment processing across multiple methods of payments used within the firm
- Coordinate across a broad stakeholder group, covering all payments and receivables products globally, for data gathering and analysis related to the project
- Work with operations experts to develop process flows to better understand the current state of payment processing workflows
- Identify opportunities within the operations space to improve process efficiency and work with stakeholders in Operations, Technology and Product to implement solutions that maximize process efficiency while maintaining or improving risk mitigation and client experience
- Work with key stakeholders in Service, Product and Operations to identify client pain points within current processes and develop strategies to mitigate them
- Execute strategic projects to simplify and improve processes within critical business services
- Ensure that the simplification efforts align with the firm's other global priorities, including operational resiliency and risk mitigation
Qualifications:
- 6-10 years of experience in a related senior level role with experience in trade / cash operations and management with a strong focus in wire transfers, interbank compensation, and investigations
- Proven experience in creating and implementing processes that result in improved business performance
- Proven experience working with senior stakeholders globally to drive progress
- Subject matter expertise in payment processing systems, SWIFT standards and other industry practices related to payments
- Effective verbal and written communication and analytical skills
- Ability to manage projects across multiple regions and organizations
Education:
- Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred, or equivalent military experience
