Resort managers are those who man these resorts , manage the running of the resort and ensure that the guests feel at home the moment they step into the resort.
The primary role of a resort manager is to oversee the boarding , lodging , house-keeping, sanitation and all other aspects of the resort.It is important that the managers know everything about the resort like the back of his hand. He could always seek the help of the junior staff but attention to detail is quite essential.They attend meetings with different departments of the resort and come up with plans to improve the facilities at the resort or plans to expand . Once these plans have been finalised it is upto the manager to present it to the higher levels.Other duties of resort managers include reviewing finances, overseeing hiring practices, getting feedback from the guests and checking on necessary supplies in various sectors of the resort.
