Gym enthusiasts lift heavy weights as part of their body building exercise, but labourers do that as part of their job. A job that involves a lot of risk because they have to work in diverse conditions. Hence, not just willingness to work, but great physical strength is also necessary. Labourers can earn jobs in different locations depending on their aptitude and interest, and there is no dearth of jobs because people in good physical health are in great demand. They have to work with bricklayers, carpenters, contractors, stonemasons, welders, plumbers and painters. They need energy not just to lift and transport heavy objects, but they must also be willing to work in harsh climates. Labourers have a number of duties depending upon their area of work. They report to the supervisor, foreman or project manager and fulfils their jobs as mandated by them. In certain cases, they maintain work records too. Labourers are indispensable to any arena that requires physical labour.
Labourers are assigned tasks depending on the circumstances they are working in. However, when you speak in general terms, they do manual labour by laying foundations, clearing sites, digging trenches, work forklifts, lift and transport lumber, wood and tools, finish concrete, load and unload lorries and trucks, climb, bend and work at heights. It is their responsibility to remove debris from the workplace and keep it safe from dangerous materials. They must communicate with their supervisor to get jobs done quickly and without incident.
