The work of builders is to construct buildings and conducting repair works. Any kind of construction work, repair and maintenance of buildings, housing structures is carried out by the builder. Construction companies mostly hire experienced builders to execute building projects. The roles and responsibilities of the builder depend on their experience and knowledge of construction work. A builder should have a good understanding and knowledge of fundamentals of construction work, building materials and engineering specifications that are outlined in the blueprints.
The work environment of the builders is extremely strenuous since they have to work in peak summer, rainy, or winter seasons. Long working hours and exposure to dust and noise can prove challenging.
