A hotel porter plays a very important role in the hospitality industry because it is his service and thoughtfulness that will bring a smile to the customer's faces. A pleasant, hospitable hotel porter will always do his job without complaining even if he is tired after a hectic day. And being pleasant and helpful is very important in this job. The whole focus of his job is customer satisfaction; hence, he must keep them as contented as possible. A contended customer will always return and that is the aim of the hotel. Hotel porters have a range of responsibilities depending on the size of the hotel he is working for.
